Get rid of acne scars and natural acne skin care

Chasteberry - If you are a woman and your acne has a hormonal link, chasteberry might be just the thing for you. Chasteberry has a long tradition of balancing women's hormone problems. Chasteberry can regulate the higher progesterone levels that are related to acne outbreaks. Chasteberry may be called for if your acne occurs along with PMS and if acne reappears as you enter menopause.
It is highly recommended that people with cystic acne should visit a dermatologist. If the patient is suffering from light to moderate cystic acne then he/she can take antibiotics which have the tendency to kill the bacterium but approximately 30%-45% of today's cystic acne strains are resistant to one or more of the common antibiotics, making them useless. Additionally long-term use of antibiotics is associated with increased cancer risks. Many dermatologists these days give oral drugs such as Accutane and sulfa-based antibiotics for cystic acne. Oral antibiotics such as tetracycline and minocycline are also more effective for cystic acne because they work systemically.
Another of the potential side effects stems from the fact that not all acne treatments deliver the results they promise. This is not a side effect in itself but can cause the potential side effects if your disposition allows it to. Some acne treatments do not make any difference to your skin, but this can then cause stress. In terms of the potential side effects, this could indirectly make your acne worse because the stress can cause more acne than you had before! This is why it is important to choose the right one.
